This year’s theme, Holistic Horizons, invites every Basic Medical Science student to journey into the full spectrum of wellness. It includes not just physical and mental health, but lifestyle, identity, talent, and expression. We are talking 5 explosive days that blend health awareness, student life, creativity, and culture, all in one unforgettable week.

Here’s what’s lined up for the most anticipated health and student-life celebration at UNIBEN:
Day 1 – Gender Switch & Costume Day
Date: Monday, August 4, 2025
We’re kicking things off with a big twist! The goal is to step out of the usual and embrace the unexpected. We hope to see the creative side of Bamssites. “This day celebrates identity, confidence, and the power of expression. “Switch it up baby!”
Day 2 – Rally & Medical Outreach
Date: Tuesday, August 5, 2025
Health meets humanity as we hit the streets of 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐁𝐄𝐍 and surrounding areas in a powerful medical outreach and awareness rally. It will feature free health checks, sensitization campaigns, and community support led by students, for the people.
Day 3 – Sports Fest & Talent Hunt Show
Date: Wednesday, August 6, 2025
This will bring the best of student athleticism and raw talent to one stage. Sporting events, dance, music, poetry, comedy: if you’ve got it, this is your moment to shine. You should also get your merch for this special day!
Day 4 – Symposium & Magazine Launch
Date: Thursday, August 7, 2025
Join industry experts, academics, and student leaders for a powerful symposium exploring current issues in student wellness, public health, and the future of medicine.
Later that day, we unveil The Antidote Magazine 7.0 — BAMSSA’s official magazine — celebrating the voices, thoughts, and art of our vibrant faculty.
Day 5 – The BAMSSA MET GALA: “A Night in Paris”
Date: Friday, August 8, 2025
We’re ending with elegance! Walk the carpet. Serve looks. Celebrate culture, beauty, and class at the BAMSSA MET GALA 2025, themed “A Night in Paris.” Expect lights, cameras, fashion, and unforgettable memories. It’s giving luxury, legacy, and love. 💃🕺
